The hot nose unit presents a realistic, 360^o aura, emanating from the IR source, to the weapon system/sensor without affecting the already proven performance of the Banshee target of the installation of additional payloads/enhancements such as miss distance indicator (MDI) systems and pyrotechnic stores.
